OBD2LOG Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data for the OBD2LOG app (package name: kr.utiful.otl), provided by the developer Utiful.

What Data the App Stores

OBD2LOG has no login or user account and Utiful operates no backend server for it. The following data is stored only on your device:

• Vehicle data read from the OBD-II adapter
• Drive recordings, including GPS tracks and timestamps
• Vehicle garage entries and session tags
• Diagnostic reports and exported files (CSV, JSON, GPX, PDF)
• App settings such as language, theme, and gauge layout

How to Delete Your Data

1. Delete individual drive records inside the app from the records screen.
2. Clear all app data from your device settings (Android: Settings > Apps > OBD2LOG > Storage > Clear data).
3. Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.

Because this data never leaves your device, deleting it on your device removes it completely. Utiful holds no copy.

Third-Party Data

Advertising and diagnostics data processed by Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics is retained and deleted according to Google's policies. You can reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
